Dr. Panella is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.   He was born in Bronx NY in 1956 and educated at Columbia University.  A graduate of NY Medical College in 1982 he completed his internship and residency at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset NY and his gastroenterology training at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. 

Dr. Panella’s gastroenterology practice is located in Englewood, NJ and has affiliation with Englewood Hospital & Medical Center and Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, NJ.  Dr. Panella is a fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association and American College of Gastroenterology as well as a Past President of the NJ Gastroenterology & Endoscopy Society in 2004-2005.   Named as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor in the NY area for the last ten years, he is interested in delivering quality GI care to all of his patients.
